Advocate, Solicitor (Non-Practising), Managing Partner
Rebecca was born in Bristol and educated at The Red Maids’ School. She graduated with a London University Law Degree in 1994.
From 1995, Rebecca worked as a paralegal specialising in civil litigation and family law, taking 18 months out to work in the management of a mental health charity, before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2002. Rebecca’s career in England saw her work in small, medium, large and international law firms. She gained experience not only in the law, but also in management. In England, Rebecca was recognised as an expert in family law, specialising in complex cases and her experience includes matters involving high value assets, family businesses, generational farms, celebrities and professional sportspeople. She is also a collaborative lawyer.
Rebecca joined F Haskins and Co in January 2012 and was called as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in January 2014.
Rebecca’s areas of particular interest are family law, property, probate and succession.
Rebecca has both written articles and lectured on family law matters. In England she was a regular expert appearing in a weekly legal advice slot on local radio and also appeared on BBC Radio Devon and BBC Radio Cornwall on legal issues. Rebecca has also appeared on BBC Radio Guernsey.

Born and raised in Guernsey, Candy graduated from the University of Sussex in 1997. Candy has worked in Guernsey law since 2002, initially as a matrmonial paralegal whilst she gained her English legal qualifications. Candy was called as a Barrister in July 2005 and as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in July 2007.
Having advised and represented clients in many types of cases including family, criminal, matrimonial, debt, employment and evictions matters, Candy is an experienced Advocate. She also reguarly advises and assists clients in proceedings connected to the Child, Youth and Community Tribunal (CYCT). Candy is particularly interested in family law, including public law matters where the Committee of Health and Social Care is involved, and criminal law.
Candy is passionate about obtaining the best outcomes for all her clients and was delighted to join Haskins Legal in January 2017.
Sarah was brought up in the South West of England. She graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2009.
Sarah joined us in March 2010 and she completed a Specialist Paralegal Qualification in family law and subsequently attained membership of the Society of Specialist Paralegals. Sarah completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) with an Outstanding Commendation and the highest mark on the part time course in June 2013. She was called to the English Bar as a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in July 2013. During her studies to become a barrister, Sarah was awarded first prize in the Albion Chambers Family Advocacy Competition and reached the finals of the Guildhall Chambers Civil Advocacy Competition. She was also awarded the Western Circuit Advocacy Prize.
Sarah’s areas of particular interest are personal injury, civil litigation, family law and wills.
Sarah was called as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in January 2015.
Sara is originally from Poole, Dorset. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 having trained at Dorset County Council where she specialised in Contracts and Procurement with a particular focus on County Council projects.
With a Local Government background of 6 years, Sara decided to move into a different area of law, and moved to Guernsey in 2010, and joined our litigation team.
Sara’s areas of particular interest are civil litigation and family law.
Sara was called as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in June 2014.
